Application
Moisten the loofah with warm water until it softens and fully expands. Add some soap or shower gel and gently massage your skin in circular motions. This application helps remove dead skin cells, promote circulation, and soften the skin. Especially for natural exfoliation with loofah and gentle skincare, this is ideal. The loofah can be used on different body areas – from rough elbows and knees to feet, which are often particularly affected by calluses. Regular use not only makes the skin smoother, but it also helps skincare products like moisturizers absorb better. A natural loofah is particularly gentle and mild, making it suitable for more sensitive areas of skin when used with care.
Care
To maximize the lifespan of your loofah sponge, rinse it thoroughly after each use and allow it to dry completely in a well-ventilated area. Regular cleaning in hot water or in the washing machine at 30°C (without fabric softener) ensures hygiene and prevents mold growth. Cleaning the loofah regularly is essential for long-lasting use. When washing the loofah in the washing machine, you can place it in a laundry bag to protect the fibers. Be sure to replace it every few months, especially if you notice signs of wear. For hygienic use, you can occasionally disinfect it with vinegar water – this keeps your loofah fresh and ready for the next use.
